Jacob Navarro Rasmussen

Minister-Counsellor for Economic Diplomacy – Energy, Embassy of Denmark in Tokyo

Jacob Navarro Rasmussen is Minister Counsellor for Economic Diplomacy and Energy at the Royal Danish Embassy in Japan, where he leads Denmark's bilateral energy cooperation with Japan.

His work focuses on strengthening government-to-government and commercial cooperation on offshore wind and the green transition. He previously served as Energy Counsellor at the Royal Danish Embassy in Korea and has led the Denmark–Japan Energy Governance Partnership since 2024.

Jacob has more than 15 years of experience spanning diplomacy, international business and green energy, and has lived and worked in Europe and Asia, including Switzerland, Germany, Singapore, Philippines, South Korea and Japan.
