Tadanori Imashiro joined Hokkaido Gas after graduating from Hokkaido University’s School of Engineering. Formerly Kitami Branch Manager and General Manager of First Sales and Environment & Regional Co-creation Promotion, he is now an Executive Officer leading next-generation energy research and planning.
To achieve 2050 carbon neutrality, economic circulation, and improved resilience, he is advancing an autonomous, decentralized, and resource-circulating energy model. This integrates synthetic methane and hydrogen, local energy production and consumption using Hokkaido’s urban and regional resources, and optimal supply-demand management via information platforms.
