Yuko Tokunaga

Manager Corporate Social Responsibility, INPEX Australia

Yuko leads Corporate Social Responsibility and Aboriginal Affairs functions at INPEX Australia, overseeing community engagement and investment initiatives across Australia.

Her role includes driving INPEX’s reconciliation commitments through the development and implementation of the company’s Reconciliation Action Plans, fostering relationships and creating meaningful opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

With more than 20 years’ experience across the resources and community sectors, Yuko leads a highly engaged team focused on enhancing sustainability performance and delivering lasting social value in the communities where INPEX operates.

Prior to joining INPEX, Yuko worked with the United Nations Human Settlements Programme in Japan, supporting post-disaster rehabilitation, housing and urban planning programs across the Asia–Pacific region.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Design from Kyushu University (formerly Kyushu Institute of Design) in Japan.
